Nurse Practitioner Care

Nurse Practitioners (NPs) have a very broad scope of practice and can provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, order laboratory/diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and refer to specialists when necessary. Our Nurse Practitioners come from a nursing background with an emphasis on holistic and integrative care. This approach is consistent with the vision of the CHI. While there is a broad array of conditions our NPs can help you with, some of the key areas of care they provide health care support for include women and men’s primary health care, mental health disorders, autoimmune and thyroid conditions to name a few. Additionally some can prescribe off label medication use for cancer, help in the management of lyme disease, mould toxicity, and neuroinflammatory conditions like PANDAs and PANS. One of the key tenets of our NPs work takes a trauma-informed approach to care.

Our NPs are passionate about providing high quality care and work collaboratively with other practitioners to identify the root cause of your symptoms and illness to help guide effective management. They work with other clinicians at the CHI and go above and beyond to achieve optimal well-being.

Working with an NP includes an in-depth assessment of your health and the development of a powerfully therapeutic clinician/patient relationship leading to optimal health outcomes.

We recommend you look at each of the profiles and bios for more information on our NPs to choose the one best suited to help manage your care according to their respective strengths and areas of expertise and interest.
