What to Expect

Classes are slow, gentle and non-insistent. They are designed specifically for people living with chronic conditions (including cancer, post-concussion syndrome, burnout, and long COVID).

You can join with your camera on or off. Lisa's classes help people to understand that BOTH movement AND stillness can be restorative.

  • You can join in if you're exhausted and depleted.
  • You can join in if you're in the middle of medical treatments.
  • You can be lying down or you can be seated for these classes.

Community Feedback

I had only experienced a more regimented approach to yoga classes before I started with you. The wide permission you remind us of every class seems so freeing when your body or mind are injured or tired. I have learned so much in the last 2 years.

I appreciate that you allow us to be ourselves. You encourage us to listen to our individual bodies. You give us freedom of movement without dictating conditions. You offer different options for varying levels.

I enjoy the spaciousness of Lisa's yoga classes and her invitation to listen to what our bodies need on any given day. As someone who is currently in trauma healing, this reminds me I have agency over my body and is something that enhances the other healing work I am doing.
