Dong Giao Tran, R.TCMP, R.Ac.

Giao Tran is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner and Acupuncturist. While his full name is Dong-Giao Tran, he encourages his patients to call him "Giao" (pronounced like "ciao" with a G).
Raised in France, Giao was exposed to traditional East Asian philosophies and acupuncture from a young age, particularly from observing his father's medical clinic. Formerly a Civil Engineer, Giao had the joy of building bridges, tunnels, and managing the reparation of nuclear power plants in France and in Hong-Kong before changing to a career in healthcare.

A scientist by training and passionate by nature, Giao is committed to providing quality of care and clinical results to his patients. Giao is constantly refining his clinical skills and knowledge through research and periodical practice alongside senior clinicians in Vietnam, France, Germany, Switzerland.

Professionalism, compassion and sincerity are at the heart of Giao's integrative practice. Giao believes in forming close partnerships between patients, their healthcare providers, and their families.
When time permits, Giao travels to Tibet and other countries to provide volunteer acupuncture treatments to patients. Giao is also actively involved in the academic community as a proud mentor to caring licensed acupuncturists along with medical doctors and as a guest speaker to medical students.

Giao is a long-time practitioner of our clinical team having supported hundreds of our patients in so many ways. Giao is proud to see patients in French or in English, and capable of providing support for the many varied health conditions people present with.
