What to Expect
Optimize Your Healing: Group Craniosacral Therapy for Mental, Emotional and Physical Balance
Would you like to shift your mindset towards a more positive place, shake off old emotional burdens, and feel lighter and more aligned in your body? These are some of the areas that Craniosacral Therapy may help support.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle holistic (mind-body-spirit) approach designed to support the body’s natural processes of self-correction and healing. It can be used alongside medical and/or psychotherapy treatments as a complementary approach to overall well-being.
Anna Crandlemire, a manual therapist at the CHI, is experienced in providing both in-person and virtual craniosacral therapy. In this innovative new program, she is offering an accessible way to experience craniosacral therapy in a group setting while learning practical techniques for nervous system regulation that can be used on a day-to-day basis.
Session Outline:
10 minutes – check-in and self-help exercises for grounding & nervous system regulation
30 minutes – group craniosacral therapy
5 minutes – check-in before closing
You can expect to:
- Learn a variety of grounding exercises and receive tips for improving posture and supporting a healthy vagus nerve
- Feel more relaxed and calm while releasing physical and emotional tension at your own pace
- Explore ways to help reduce pain and symptoms of stress, such as shallow breathing and anxiety
- Improve flexibility and alignment
- Become more acquainted with your body’s cues and the guidance of your Inner Physician (your body’s healing power)
