Dr. Marillea Yu is a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) based in Toronto, ON. She is a graduate of the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, PE and completed her Naturopathic education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON.

Dr. Yu takes an evidence-informed, holistic and individualized approach to patient care. She has found that the key to addressing complex health issues is to get to the root causes of these concerns. This brought her to the practice of Environmental Medicine which takes into account the very real effects of environmental pollution on our current and future health, while looking to address these issues now.

She has a special interest in autoimmune conditions, mold toxicity and illness, heavy metal toxicity, metabolic health and pre-conception preparation and care - through an Environmental Medicine lens. She also maintains a more general practice - managing digestive concerns, mood difficulties, fatigue and brain fog. She is also the creator of The Natural Conception Prep Program™.

Dr. Yu has obtained the Standard of Practice for Prescribing and provides Intravenous Nutrient Therapy in Ontario and is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). She serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Environmental Medicine (NAEM).

Her pastimes include training Capoeira, knitting, social dancing, learning to play music and exploring the rich cultures and cuisines of the international community in her (now) home of Toronto.
