Dr. Adrienne Junek completed her MD at the University of Toronto in 2013 and her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Ottawa in 2015. She has also completed a fellowship in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona (graduate 2017), is board certified in integrative medicine in the USA (ABOIM, 2017) and is a certified functional medicine practitionner (IFMCP, 2021).
Dr. Junek offers integrative and functional medicine consultations for a variety of health conditions. She helps patients navigate the full range of therapeutic modalities including conventional medications, herbal products, supplements, mind-body or other therapy techniques, manual medicine, and lifestyle counselling such as diet, exercise, and stress reduction. Dr. Junek also offers patients an opportunity to dig deeper into the root cause of their symptoms through the functional medicine approach to health and wellness. She works in conjunction with a patient’s naturopath, family doctor and other specialists to treat conditions such as IBS/IBD, anxiety/depression, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, hashimoto’s thyroiditis, menstrual or menopausal symptoms, and many other conditions.
Please note that Dr. Junek’s integrative and functional medicine services are not covered by OHIP. Dr. Junek does not accept to take on patients as their family doctor.
