Yoga Therapist

Anne has her masters in Kinesiology and is the Director of the Ottawa School of Embodied Yoga Therapy (www.oseyt.com) with over 30 years of experience in training yoga teachers, teaching embodied yoga, and pioneering yoga therapy in Canada.

At the Centre for Health Innovation, Anne has designed and leads Head Start, a popular program for those newly diagnosed with breast cancer, bringing a wide array of helpful mindfulness and yoga practices to help people who are still in shock turn toward fear and anxiety.

As practicing one-on-one Yoga as a Grief Therapist, Anne has extensive experience compassionately accompanying people living in difficult times; to create settling and grounding practices in the midst of it all, to live deeply and consciously, and to cultivate the path for some, in their ending of days, to die well.

Anne is also a Pain Care Yoga Teacher. Anne has released a comprehensive audio practice called, “7 Short Practices: A Gentle Companion for Yoga Home Practice” and a meditation audio “Into the Body”.
