Janet Penny, RMT approaches each client as unique, bringing humour and compassion to her work. With extensive experience as a massage therapist, Janet uses a range of modalities. She welcomes people living with cancer as well as their families and supporters who can benefit from massage to manage physical symptoms associated with cancer and its treatment as well as to better handle stress, anxiety and poor sleep.
Janet is recognized as a Preferred Provider with the Society for Oncology Massage (S4OM) and has advanced training in:
- Oncology massage
- Lymphatic drainage therapy
- Scar treatments
- Craniosacral therapy
- Cupping
Janet is currently co-writing a textbook on oncology massage due for publication by Handspring Publishing in January 2021.
