
Emily Gooding
Registered Nurse, Personal Trainer & Thai Massage
Emily Gooding is a Registered Nurse who graduated in 2018 from the University of Ottawa. Throughout nursing school, she worked at various health food stores and as a personal trainer, which peaked her interested in holistic healthcare.
She enjoyed her work on the trauma unit and is happy to now be working in the CHI's IV suite in an integrative and holistic setting.
Emily also offers Thai Massage and Personal Training at the CHI.
Emily is a Certified Level 2 Personal Trainer with the Sports Performance Institute. Emily takes a functional and non-judgmental approach to training her clients, focusing on movement, pain reduction, balance, coordination, and strength development. Training is adapted to individual client goals and abilities with an emphasis developing plans that enable clients to function more optimally throughout their day-to-day lives.
Emily is certified with The Foot Collective, which is a global community aimed to help humans reclaim strong, functional and pain-free bodies starting from their feet. She is in the process of becoming a Level 1 Animal Flow instructor and has taken many continuing education courses on breath work, cold therapy, and functional movement.
